Mary Frances Accessories, Inc. has been in operation for almost 18 years. Mary Frances Schaffer began her creative career in her living room designing costume jewelry and handbags in the late 80s. Mary Frances recognized she had a natural instinct for design and within months, her collection grew. She mixes elegance, whimsey, texture, and color in her handbags and has developed a legion of loyal fans and collectors like Kate Hudson, Shania Twain, Jennifer Anniston, Britney Spears, Teri Hatcher, Sheryl Crow, Eva Longoria, and others. In 2004, she received the award for Accessory Designer of the Year at the Dallas Fashion Awards.

Each handbag is inspired by Mary Frances' unique personality and zest for life and are created individually by skilled artisans. Close attention is paid to quality and detail. Heavily beaded bags take up to three days to create.
